Kindergarten "Wish List"

Hello All! Jana Mixon and I just got back from the Alabama Kindergarten Conference in Huntsville, Alabama. We had a great time! While we were there, we brainstormed a list of items that we know we will need throughout this kindergarten year. Class roles will be posted soon, so I thought I would go ahead and publish this list! Start collecting, parents!!!

Kindergarten Wish List…
These additional items will make your child’s learning experiences more memorable and FUN! If you want to purchase any of the following items (or have these items at home and would like to donate them to our class), we will use and appreciate them!!!

Small brooms and dustpans
Big Broom
Clorox mop refills
Play dough
Candyland Games
other games your child can play independently
decks of cards
colored copy paper
spiral single-subject notebooks
sharpie markers
“Crafts” extras—buttons, wiggle eyes, pom-poms, sequins, beads, etc.
Bubbles
Sidewalk chalk
Fun Stickers
“kid-friendly” magazines or newspaper ads—to cut out pictures for classroom use
EXTRA SNACKS/JUICES

Getting Ready...

Hello All! I am beginning to think about the upcoming school year. It will be here before we know it, so I am trying to get ahead of the game and get this blog ready! I hope to use it a lot to communicate with my new families! Enjoy the rest of the summer!!!
